U before I in Altruism

“I’ll do this for you without expecting anything.” If by any chance you’ve said this line to anyone, then you’ve practiced altruism.

It’s uncommon in this generation but definitely doable. Our founders have seen success in their respective endeavors and have understood that giving an assist to a teammate was as much fun as scoring the goal yourself. After decades in various levels of responsibilities in the corporate world, our team felt the urge to give back.

A realization gnawed its way out of all of us that life is not just about doing things and accomplishing it for compensation or for fame. Not that we became famous in the work that we did,  but true joy was felt doing it for others.  Thus came the cycle of giving back. Others would want to know how things are done, but there are only a few resources for certain topics. This website is here to document the process, more than to showcase the work that we made.  It is not about us anymore.

“Altruism Works” aims to open doors to those who want to make that first step and realize that it can be done and that it works.

We pray and hope that this blog accomplishes that.
